Mr. Root
Mr. Root is a producer, songwriter and DJ with a wide-ranging career across house, disco and commercial dance music. Known for energetic DJ sets and polished productions, his work has reached audiences across the UK, Poland, Spain, Germany, the USA and beyond, earning radio support and club attention across multiple territories.
His production and remix catalogue includes work connected with artists such as Bob Sinclar, Danny Cohiba, Bimbo Jones, Jerry Ropero, KC and The Sunshine Band and Nile Rodgers. One of his remix projects helped take a KC and Nile Rodgers release to the top of the Billboard Dance chart, underlining his ability to bring classic artist material into a contemporary club setting with impact.
Mr. Root has also worked on new material for Rozalla, contributing to a comeback release from the iconic 90s dance artist after time away from the scene. Alongside his remix and production work, he has contributed as a music producer for X-Factor Malta, adding further breadth to a career that spans studio production, artist development and live performance.
As a DJ, Mr. Root has performed across Ibiza, Malta, Poland, the UK, Ukraine, Paris, Doha and more, with a residency at Cafe Del Mar Malta forming part of his international club profile. He is also co-owner of the London-based record label Proper Decent Choons, giving him a practical understanding of both the creative and release-side demands of modern dance music.
